Understanding the cellular composition of tissues is crucial for the diagnosis and treatment of immunological diseases as psoriasis or cancer. Conventional methods cannot distinguish between different cell types within a tissue. There is therefore a need for a platform that can decipher the proportions of cell types. The Omnicellscope project will provide researchers and clinicians with a comprehensive tool. The European funding is being coordinated by Essen University Hospital and will be kicked off in Munich in November 2025.
