Congratulations Dr. Boikine!
Congratulations, Dr. Rodion Boikine (also known as Rodi)! He passed his Ph.D. exam summa cum laude. Dr. Boikine spearheaded our efforts to understand the molecular mechanism of receptor kinase-mediated cell wall damage caused by inhibition of cellulose biosynthesis. He was also instrumental in establishing FRET-FLIM technology in our lab. He did an excellent job in both areas. We are very proud of him!
