”I am a doctoral researcher at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), specializing in tree ecophysiology with a strong focus on plant hydraulics and drought stress responses. My research investigates how water transport dynamics, hydraulic regulation, and environmental variability interact to control tree growth and resilience under changing climatic conditions. I integrate high-resolution sensors with physiological monitoring and statistical modeling to quantify how trees respond to water limitation. I hold both BSc and MSc degrees in Forestry from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh, graduating with distinction. My MSc research examined radial growth dynamics of tropical tree species in relation to environmental and phenological variability. My broader research interests center on hydraulic functioning, drought-induced growth constraints, and climate sensitivity of trees across environmental gradients. My work aims to advance mechanistic understanding of tree responses to drought and to improve predictive models of forest dynamics under increasing climate extremes.“
