I joined the REPO4EU project at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) as a PhD student in Bioinformatics in October 2026. My research focuses on developing a context-aware modulome by integrating protein complexes and molecular communities from complementary experimental approaches, including protein interaction, proximity labeling, and spatial proteomics. The aim is to advance disease module discovery and comparison for network medicine and drug repurposing.
Before starting my PhD, I worked as a student research assistant within REPO4EU, contributing to the development of NeDRex and Drugst.One. My work involved disease module discovery, network-based drug repurposing, and the integration and interactive exploration of biological networks.
I completed my Master's degree in Bioinformatics at LMU Munich and TUM. In my Master's thesis, I worked on protein language models, exploring novel model architectures and self-supervised learning approaches for protein representation learning.
