Welcome Lisa !
News |
Lisa is joining us as a doctoral candidate in Bioinformatics, but she is already a familiar face at DaiSyBio. For the past three years, she has been working as a student research assistant within the REPO4EU project, focusing on network-based drug repurposing and disease module discovery.
Now, as part of her PhD, Lisa will be working towards a context-aware modulome, integrating protein complexes and molecular communities from different experimental approaches to better capture the cellular context of molecular interactions. Her research will also focus on connecting and comparing disease modules to support the identification of robust drug repurposing candidates.
Lisa recently completed her Master’s degree in Bioinformatics at TUM and LMU Munich, where she worked on protein language models and novel pre-training strategies. Outside of research and coding, you will likely find her on the volleyball court. 🏐
Welcome to your new role, Lisa!
